Important Milestones of my Career

I studied medicine at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, USA, and graduated with a degree in medicine from Johannes Gutenberg University in 1999.
I completed my training for Facharzt (attending) at Dr. Horst Schmidt Kliniken in Wiesbaden under the leadership of
Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Andreas du Bois and Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Markus Gonser.
After obtaining Facharzt (attending) status in 2004, I was appointed Oberarzt (senior physician) in 2005.
In 2007, I was appointed to lead the Breast Care Center at Dr. Horst Schmidt Kliniken and in 2010, I completed the specialization in Gynecological Oncology.
In 2011, I followed Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. du Bois to Kliniken Essen-Mitte as Oberärztin (senior physician). Under his mentorship I intensified my training in the Surgical Debulking of Cancer.
At Klinikum Essen-Mitte, I established a clinic for at risk patients for hereditary breast- and ovarian cancer
with Prof. Dr. med. Rita Schmutzler (Director of the Center for Hereditary Breast- and Ovarian Cancer, Uniklinik Köln) and her team.
In 2014, I returned to the Rhine-Main area to work as leitende Oberärztin (managing senior physician)
in the gynecology & obstetrics department at Sana Klinikum Offenbach under the leadership of Prof. Dr. med. Christian Jackisch.
Another highlight of my professional career was my medical experience as Surgical Consultant of Gynae - Oncology
at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in Gateshead, and James Cook University Hospital (JCUH) in Middlesbrough, Great Britain.
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to provide care in my own practice in the Rhine – Main area.
