I studied medicine at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, USA, and graduated with a degree in medicine from Johannes Gutenberg University in 1999.

I completed my training for Facharzt (attending) at Dr. Horst Schmidt Kliniken in Wiesbaden under the leadership of

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Andreas du Bois and Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Markus Gonser.

After obtaining Facharzt (attending) status in 2004, I was appointed Oberarzt (senior physician) in 2005.

In 2007, I was appointed to lead the Breast Care Center at Dr. Horst Schmidt Kliniken and in 2010, I completed the specialization in Gynecological Oncology.

In 2011, I followed Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. du Bois to Kliniken Essen-Mitte as Oberärztin (senior physician). Under his mentorship I intensified my training in the Surgical Debulking of Cancer.

At Klinikum Essen-Mitte, I established a clinic for at risk patients for hereditary breast- and ovarian cancer

with Prof. Dr. med. Rita Schmutzler  (Director of the Center for Hereditary Breast- and Ovarian Cancer, Uniklinik Köln) and her team.

In 2014, I returned to the Rhine-Main area to work as leitende Oberärztin (managing senior physician)

in the gynecology & obstetrics department at Sana Klinikum Offenbach under the leadership of Prof. Dr. med.  Christian Jackisch.

Another highlight of my professional career was my medical experience as Surgical Consultant of Gynae - Oncology

at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in Gateshead, and James Cook University Hospital (JCUH) in Middlesbrough, Great Britain.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to provide care in my own practice in the Rhine – Main area.
